Whilst Schoot users can enrol themselves onto as many courses as they like, if you have administrator access to your Schoot subscription (often the CPD leader), you can enrol other staff onto courses.  In essence, you can create a personal development plan for each staff member, governor etc.

To do this, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Locate the course you want someone, or more than one other person to be enrolled on

To do this, browse courses as usual from the 'Courses' menu on the top of the Schoot screen and the 'Browse Courses' tab.

This will display the courses and the search/filter options.

Step 2: View courses details and enrol other people onto the course

Once you find the course you want to enrol someone on, open the course details page.  In the following example you would need to click on 'Click here for more information'

This then opens the course detail page, where if you have administrator privileges in Schoot, you will see the button 'Enrol Other(s)' button on the top right hand side of the screen.

Click the button 'Enrol Other(s)' and you will be prompted with the following screen:

On the left hand side of the screen you will see the list of Schoot users in your organisation.  If you don't see the person you want to add to the course in the list then you need to invite them to Schoot.  To do this, see this article: [click here].

To enrol people onto the course, click the icon next to the persons name:

In this example, we have added John, Phil and Mark to the list of staff to enrol:

To remove someone from the list, click the X next to the persons name.

Once you are happy with the list of people to enrol on the course, click the buttons saying 'Enrol selected'.  This will enrol the people in the list on the right hand side of the screen onto the course and email them to let them know that they have been enrolled.

As CPD leader you will get this notification that 'users' have been enrolled onto the course.
